Фотосерия «Цветочная экспрессия» в большей степени является продолжением серии «Скользящий пейзаж». Данная серия - это выраженный акцент на подвижности и изменчивости окружения, отсутствие цели проникнуть глубже созерцания текучести цвета, формы, состояния. И действительно, постоянство, статичность окружающего мира – существует условно, вне временной оси. Бесконечно возможное количество едва улавливаемых переходов и состояний видимого мира, наслаиваясь друг на друга, фиксируются камерой. Получаемые изображения – это те самые ускользающие от нас моменты и промежуточные состояния, доказательства ультрамногогранности мира.

 | | The Expressive Flowers
My vacation let me go on with previous photo series and to start a new one «The Expressive Flowers”. The idea of it i bore in mind long ago. From the technical point of view this series is similar to my last project, called “Flat Still Life”. Those shots were united by special technique of shooting in darkness using a LED spotlight, long exposure, moving of the object during exposition…
«The Expressive Flowers” has a vivid accent on the flexibility and mobility of the environment. There is no purpose to get beyond the contemplation of color and form fluctuation. Indeed the stability of the environment exists only conditionally, without time axis. There is nothing intricate in watching such things, but still, it has a philosophical approach and makes you think about something “higher”.
An endless number of hardly conspicuous movements and states are put upon each other and caught by the camera. The images one receives are those slipping moments and intermediate states, a proof of the existence of multilateral world.
These shots bring forth some inner conflict of reality perception. It is recognizable but it is different. This created the dubious attitude to my works: from acceptance to sheer rejection. It`s normal, I guess.
I like to search reality in this way. I like the very process of it and the result, of course. I guess the shots expressing the varying of the present world are especially charming and passionate.
The result is certainly subjective. During shooting I bring something artificial into the process of variability of the visual environment and accelerate this process. That`s why my work have certain style depending on my emotions during shooting, which brings to mind the ideas of classical expressionism.
«The Expressive Flowers” photo series is a decent statement of an innumerable variations of life. It can`t reflect all the multiplicity of existence, but can make us perceive the world a bit wider, a bit deeper…
